Andrea Foffi
Andrea Foffi’s passion for watches began in his teenage years when, driven by curiosity and instinct, he started exploring markets in search of unique timepieces. Fascinated by discovery and collecting, he was introduced to the world of watchmaking by his uncle, Sergio Foffi, who nurtured his interest in ticking objects.
A pivotal moment came when he stumbled upon a chronograph he had never seen before—an Omega Speedmaster. Unaware of its legendary history, he was immediately captivated and developed a lifelong passion for the model. From that day on, he dedicated himself to studying and hunting down increasingly rare pieces, chasing them across the world through shops, private collectors, and international auctions.
Over time, Andrea turned his passion into a profession, traveling across Italy and collaborating on events and exhibitions dedicated to watchmaking. He shared every decision with Lidia, his wife, with whom he built a unique venture in the industry. Together, they not only acquired and collected watches but also organized exhibitions and meetings with fellow enthusiasts.
Through the years, he assembled an extraordinary Speedmaster collection, carefully selecting the rarest and most significant examples. This dedication led to the creation of "Magister", a book that visually narrates the history of the Moonwatch through unique pieces and prestigious collections.
Today, Andrea Foffi is recognized as one of the foremost experts in the field, a true witness to a passion that, born from instinct, has evolved into a mission: to preserve and celebrate the great legacy of watchmaking.
